About
I design with intention.
I'm Tia Danyale — a UX/UI designer with five years of experience building digital products for health, logistics, and e-commerce. I'm drawn to the messy, human parts of design: the research that changes your assumptions, the wireframe that finally clicks, the detail that makes a user feel understood.
I hold a B.S. in Computer Engineering & Graphic Design from Howard University and a UX/UI certification from General Assembly. My background bridges technical knowledge and visual craft — I care as much about how something works as how it looks.
Design philosophy
Research first
Good design starts with genuine curiosity about people. I don't skip the research phase — it's where the real problems live.
Craft in the details
The difference between good and great is usually invisible until you look closely. I look closely.
Clarity over cleverness
If a user has to think about how to use something, the design hasn't done its job. Simplicity is the hardest thing to achieve.
Collaboration as craft
The best work I've done has always been with engineers, researchers, and stakeholders who push back. Friction makes things better.
